This version of Jane Eyre is the only one I’ve watched and my favorite. It did a good job staying truthful to the book. I first watched this movie when I was in high school and this movie has become one of my all time favorites. Its perpetual fall color gives me great comfort, as it reminds me of how it would be like to take a walk outside in the fall…

My Charter experience
For once I did not have a bad Charter experience… well I guess only after I threatened to cancel my service…
The first person I talked to was a dude.. and he was a hardass… I asked if there is any promotion I can take advantage of… he said.. no.. and my current promotion will expire in Aug.. and my bill will go up $20…. he said the only promotion I can use it to add a phone line… which is useless to me… so I said… well I’m gonna have to cancel some services. Then he transfered me to the “cancellation department”.
The second person I talked was a woman, and she was much nicer (or reading the scripts much better)… and I got rid of some services… (channels I thought I’d watch… i made sure I still have Comedy Central and Bravo) and she found me a promotion for 12 months… cheapie high-speed (29.99!! Who needs 10 Meg, my wireless router can’t even do 1 meg… is my understanding… and the 5 Meg vs. 10 Meg is totally some made-up BS from Charter) and cable TV. Hooray for being persistent and having my bill reduced by 30 bucks!
